Joseph Desha Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky To all to whom these presents
shall come Greetings Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of a Kentucky
Land office warrant No.13424 there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Isaac Davis
a certain tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres by Survey bearing date the
Sixth day of August one thousand eight hundred and twenty four lying and being in the
County of Madison on the waters of Silver Creek and bounded as followeth to wit Beginning
at a poplar on a hill side corner to said Davis survey of one hundred acres thence
North eighty five East forty eight poles to a white oak on a west line of Bentleys
Survey of seven hundred acres thence with the same South nine East twenty poles to his corner a large
white oak thence with another of his lines South eighty one East fifty six poles to
two chesnut oaks and black gum thence South seventy poles to a maple and beech near a small
branch thence South seventy East sixteen poles to a beech and Spanish oak thence South ten West Seventy poles
to a black oak and three beeches thence South Seventy five West two hundred and eighty poles
to a stake in a line of Thomas Sheltons Survey of 400 acres thence with his line
North fifteen West Sixty poles to a poplar corner to the said Davis Survey of
one hundred acres thence with his lines North seventy four East forty eight poles to a white
oak South Sixty East thirty two poles to a poplar and chesnut on a ridge thence East
thirty three poles to a chesnut and dogwood thence North Eighty poles to a small red oak on
a cliff thence North fifty eight East one hundred polesto a white walnut thence North fifteen
West fifty four poles to the Beginning
with its apputenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land
with its appurtenances to the said Isaac Davis and his heirs forever In witness whereof the
said Joseph Desha Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereunto set his hand
and caused the seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort on the twelth day
of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five and of the
Commonwealth the thirty fourth
