James l. Morehead Esq. Lieut. and acting Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in
consideration of this Land Office Warrant No. 22306 there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto
Lewis Davis assee of Shelton Brockman who was assee of Robert Harris
a certain tract or parcel of land containing fifty acres by survey bearing date the 18th
February one thousand eight hundred and thirty four lying and being in the County of Madison
on the waters of the south fork of Station Camp Creek and adjoining Lewis Adams and
William Turner land and bounded as followeth To wit Beginning at two dogwoods and an ash
corner to William Turners survey of 50 acres thence with his line South passing his corner
at 28 poles and with ___ ___ line in all 100 poles to two white oaks corner to the aforesaid
Lewis Adams thence W80 poles with the said Adams to another of his corners a dead
white oak thence N100 poles to 2 dogwoods thence E80 poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances
to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said
Lewis Davis and his heirs forever In witness whereof the said James L. Morehead Esq. Lieut and acting Governor
of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereto set his hand and caused the same to be affixed
at Frankfort on the eighteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
thirty four and of the Commonwealth the ___
