To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:
KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of an order from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto William and Abner G.
Williams
a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing one
hundred Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 21st day of February
one thousand eight hundred
and thirty seven lying
and being in the County of Madison on the South
fork of Station Camp Creek Beginning about 80 poles below Hubbards old Cave at a
white oak and two sugar trees on a small
branch near the foot of the Winding Stairs thence N10E28 poles Crossing the South fork to a
black walnut and Spanish oak
thence N55E30 poles to a white oak and maple thence S70E28 poles thence East 40 poles to a
poplar and Spanish oak
thence S20 East at 8 poles the Creek in 130 poles to two chesnut oaks thence S25W90 poles to a
Stake thence N38
W162 poles to a Stake thence N40 poles to the Beginning
With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its
appurtenances, to the said
William and Abner G. Williams
and their heirs forever.
