Introduction Much like all living things, this site has come to life and has begun an ever evolving process of growth and development. Found on this site you will find information about transsexuality, sexuality and gender identity and the many facets of the human expereince related to same. More specifically, as this site develops, you will find writings that focus on how gender and sexuality issues are dealt with from within families and intimate relationships. If exposure to such material not to your liking, I trust that you will be respectful and move on. On the other hamd, if you have a genuine interest I invite you to look around and enjoy your time here. If you find something useful, please share the site with others (and let your web hostess know as well). Additionally, if there is something you would like to add, drop me an email - I will be happy to consider potential contributions from transgender individuals, their family and/or friends. About your web hostess - and more about the site: I am a 42 year old post-operative transsexual woman living happily in a mid-western city. I have lived as female for nearly eight years. Since going "full time" I have earned a bachelors and masters degree (both in Social Work) and at present I am working towards a doctorate (PhD) in Human Sexuality. Over the last several years I have written several articles about my positive expereince as a transsexual woman (all of which can be found in the Articles By Your Web Hostess section of this site). A recent article was co-authored with a dear frined, Andrea Werner-Morse, MSW, and can also be found in the same section of this site. Also found here are links to pages that offer a variety of opinion and information on trans issues. My intention is to bring forth a variety of experiences and opinions without endorsing any particular ideology or adgenda. Please keep in mind that this site continues its state of transition (construction). If I can be of help in your desire to understand the trans experience, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by! Best wishes, Grace Bock |
