Maintenance Men

They march in sets of two's,
Coffee cups in hand.
Tools clipped and belted waists,
The best - - Stanley's Brand.

Blue denim work shirts,
Pressed and clean.
Neither dirt nor grease,
Can be seen.

"If it ain't broke - - don't fix it!",
Is the first thing they say.
Wrenches, pliers nor gages,
Seldom come into play.

Oh, we love our maintenance men,
Duct tape's their favorite tool.
Cheers go up each time we go down,
Cause they'll fix it up so cool.

A piece of industrial strength duct tape,
Or any old shoe - string will do.
Just enough to slap it all together,
It'll hold, but only for a few.

They work hard at doing nothing,
Break a sweat from "think'en" it through.
In the end - - the "money's the same",
Ya get paid more, the less ya do.
