Win My Award

Here are some of the awards I will be giving out to people who are doing great work on the internet and creating those wonderful web-sites for us. This page takes too long to download with all the awards on this page. Click on the small photo of the award to see the full size award. You can also click on the Winner's Circle to see the people who have already won these awards.

I also have another site at: Family History and Genealogy, that has some 'great' awards, including one for genealogy. Feel free to visit me there to apply for them. You can get an award from both of my sites.

If you would like to apply for one of these awards, then email me and don't forget to include your URL, or if you would like you can nominate someone else for the award. And please don't forget to tell me the award you are applying for. Some people neglect to do that and it puts me at a disadvantage.
I would appreciate a link back to my site as others may want to apply as well, but it is not a requirement. I will get back with you as soon as I can and I will make the final decision on the giving out of the awards. I have many applications for these awards, so please understand if it takes me a while to get back to you. It may take a week or two. I do try to respond to each application.
What Do I Look For In An Award Site?

 1. I have to just "like" it, for one thing. This is intangible.
 2. Ease of Navigation
 3. Color coordination of backgrounds with text
 4. Graphics (I admit I'm a sucker for great graphics)
 5. Originality/Imagination/Humor/Philosophy
 6. Attention to details and nuances
 7. Level of maintenance (are there broken links ?)(do your forms work ? )
 8. Can I turn off the music ? Please provide the viewer a way to turn it off.
 9. If yours is a genealogy site, is the info easy to understand ?
 10. Is your email address easy to find on the page ?

 11. Absolutely NO pornography or content that would be unsuitable for children.
