Homework is a very important part of your child's education. For this age, a child should have approximately 30 minutes of homework each night. The child should be given a quiet place to work and should be expected to complete work with as little help as possible. All work assigned will be a review of what has been already taught. I will assign homework on a weekly basis for your convenience. There will be a Reading assignment every night. (Usually read for 15 minutes from a book of your choice.) There will be a weekly Spelling sheet that will be helpful in practicing the Spelling words for that week. There will be vocabulary words to study for the test on Fridays. There will be a Spelling test on Fridays. There will also be Math homework. Homework is to be worked on all week at your convenience, placed in the homework folder, and turned in to me on Fridays. |
