Is It Over?

Is it over?
All the times we had back then;
When we loved each other,
Comforting one another.
Through the laughter and sharing,
The joy and all the caring.

Is it over?
All the times we made tender love;
When our hearts did beat as one,
And our passion brightly shone.
When we ran through the golden field,
That special day you chose to yield.

Is it over?
All the times it looked forever;
When you accepted my golden ring,
I wanted to reach out and sing.
As you took my hand,
I did proudly stand.

Is it over?
All the mistakes we made;
When things went so wrong,
For what was so long.
Could it all be put right?
Or forever be a blight?

Is it over?
All the times I've thought;
When can we get together,
And make it last forever?
I see her gently walk,
Can I just ask, and talk?

Is it over?
All our love shines in the sky;
When the good times blessed us two,
And gave a chance to start anew.
We've now been together for years,
With strong love, and no more tears.
