YELLOW BEANS WITH SALT PORK
3 lbs. fresh yellow beans
3 pkgs. of salt pork

*Note:  If you use less beans,  use less pork or it would be too salty.

~Rinse the salt pork well under cool tap water.
~Slice into 1 inch strips.
~Put into large pot

~Wash & clip off ends of the beans.
~Break into about 1 inch pieces.
~Pour over the pork.
~Cover with cold water.
~Let cook for 5-7 hrs.
~Stir 3 or 4 times during the cooking hrs. to distribute the juice with the beans.
~Add boiling water as needed.

Hint: 
Don't do this in the slowcooker.  It gets too salty.
