There are several ways in which you can support Gram-Mangal. Recently, the well known funding organization ASHA's Atlanta chapter has visited Gram-Mangal and has decided to support the Foster Parents program (details below). You are certainly welcome to join ASHA in this effort. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE if you donate to Gram Mangal through Asha. Contact your local Asha Representative, or Asha Atlanta's Jaideep Sahasrabudhe at jay.sahas@gmail.com, or visit the website at www.ashanet.org/atlanta. Alternatively, you may decide to contribute as an invividual, or as a separate group.

Foster-Parents Program:
About 500 children, mostly tribal, are studying in Gram-Mangal schools. Gram-Mangal has developed a Foster-Parent program, through which, individuals or institutions can fund the schooling costs for these children (and schholling + living costs for Residential children). No separate membership fees are necessary if you are participating in the Foster-Parents Program. The approximate costs are as follows:
- The most popular program is the Dollar-a-day Residential school child foster parenting program for middle school students - Rs. 14,500 / $365 per annum.(Includes all expenses less teacher salaries)
- If you harbour a special bond with people having athletic or musical abilities (or even otherwise!), you could choose to sponsor such a gifted child at - Rs. 20,000 p.a. / $500 per annum.(Includes all residential school expenses less teacher salaries)
- People have also chosen the option of sponsoring one or more Balwadi (pre-primary) or Vikaswadi (primary) students at - Rs. 4,000 p.a. / $100 per annum.(includes all expenses)
- Teachers are our most valued team members. They make things happen at Gram Mangal and choose to continue with us despite having better paying opportunities elsewhere. However, we are making an effort to make life easier for them and you could certainly help, by contributing - Rs. 8,000 / $200 per month (Middle school)

- If you are a Non-resident, you will be pleased to know that we have obtained a permanent certificate for receiving foreign funds under the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act. You are urged to check out our Foster-Parents program described above. You can directly send checks in US Dollars or Euros. (However, if you would like to get 50% tax-credit (exemption) for your contributions, you will need to transfer the money to India, to your parents/relatives/friends, and ask them to donate it to Gram-Mangal.)
