When I first created this website I asked some of my friends what they thought about the website and one of the questions I recieved was why did I have depressing black bacground on a site that was meant to inspire?
The answer that I gave was "I have the black thre because, I don't want to the site to be too happy. The black represents the
gloominess it can bring to a life, and I know a thing or two about that, and at the same time people can read what I've been able to do despite it. But, at the same time it lurks like a shadow over everything that I do. I don't want people to forget what I've had to overcome to get where I am today."
That's why you see black for the background.
