This car has been through hell and back with Peter. Back when he first got the car he had to put in a new turbo unit. Then in the spring the engine needed a rebuild, so out it came. About 2 months and $1200 later, the damn thing ran like it was going to explode. After the summer, fall, and half of winter, Pete finally said he would sell it for anything. As he was taking it all apart he found a paper towel stuck in the air intake. He thought the problem was fixed, but it wasn't. It turns out there was another paper towel stuck in the turbo. Now that it's all fixed, she's a mean lean racing machine. |
