Howell School about 1946 Howell School was located about three blocks south of the "main four" in Howell. We started school at the South door and graduated from the North door. Many memories were made in those walls. We can remember when Howell was a small town and had only a few blocks for us to call downtown. Hit Parade for 1951 to 1955 Hit Parade for 1955 to 1959 Your Hit Parade was a weekly network television program that aired from 1950 to 1959. The program enjoyed some popularity but was never as successful as its radio predecessor which began in 1935 and ran for fifteen years before moving to television.
