Deceased Name: William C. Hateley
William C. Hateley, 86, of 10524 S. Crawford Av., Oak Lawn, died
yesterday in an Evergreen Park nursing home. Mr. Hateley was a retired
garage foreman for the Railway Express Agency. He retired in 1957
after 37 years with the firm. He was a charter member and former
treasurer of Automobile Mechanics Union Local 701. Survivors are his
widow, Alida; a daughter, Mrs. Mary H. Gillerlain; a son, Lawrence;
two stepsons, William Schryver and Robert J. Carroll; six
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10
a.m. Tuesday in St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 4107
W. 107th St., Oak Lawn.
