Grand Master Chung Ho Park Grand Master Chung Ho Park has been studying martial arts for over 30 years in the traditional style of Tae Kwon Do. He was born in the town of Taeku in South Korea. He started learning Tae Kwon Do at a young age of 8 and got his black belt within a period of 2 years! He was under the aegis of Grand Master Han Kul Chang whom he respects and loves until this day. Grand Master Chang continues to teach Tae Kwon Do to his students in his simple school even today.

Grand Master Chung Ho Park At the age of 14, Grand Master Park moved to Seoul and joined the Tae Kwon Do team of his Jr. High School. After finishing his schooling, he went on to graduate with Tae Kwon Do and martial arts as his major. Along the way, he had already started amassing a string of gold medals in every tournament that he participated.

World Champion 1977 awards ceremony He became the Korean national champion at the age of 16 and was the reigning champion for the next 10 years. At the end of his graduation, he joined the army and was the captain of their Tae Kwon Do team. Upon completion of his compulsory service to the nation, he moved on to training the Korean Police Tae Kwon Do teams.

At the age of 22, Grand Master Chung Ho Park came to the USA and became the Tae Kwon Do World Champion in 1977 and again in 1979. After becoming the World Champion, he embarked on a world tour and was awarded the Korean President's special award. He then went back to Korea for a few years to perform research and more studies about the art of Tae Kwon Do.

The World Champion's homecoming After a few years, he returned to the USA and undertook the responsibility of coaching the US National Tae Kwon Do team. He went on to coach the US Olympic Tae Kwon Do team in 1988 and the US World Cup Tae Kwon Do team in 1986 and 1989. He has also coached the US teams for World championships, Pan Am games and the Olympian team among others. He opened his first school in Olathe, KS in 1990 and is currently running schools in St. Louis, MO and Belleville, IL.

Master Park Breaking Concrete blocks He has attained the ranking of Grand Master in his discipline, which is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual for their dedication to and the perfection of martial arts. He is qualified to certify up to a 7th degree (Dan) black belt status, a privilege given only to the highest ranking in the art of Tae Kwon Do.
