Jessika

Jessika is my youngest daughter. She was born on the 3rd. of November 1985, her star sign is Scorpio.She was a cute little baby weighting in at 6lbs, but did she cry!! When she went out in her pram everyone in the street could hear her.

The above picture was taken when she was about three.She is wearing my first attempt at smocking a little girls dress, it took me ages, but it was worth it in the end.

In these pictures Jess it being very Chinese. On the left, she is with Yer-yer and her cousins, it is New Year and the children were dressed to go visiting the old people. The picture on the right was taken at kinder,for Internatinal Childrens Day. Red is a lucky colour, and worn on special occasions.

This was the year Jess started school. On the left: Its Christmas day and Jess is showing off her party dress , it was the frilliest,laciest dress you ever saw,and Jess chose it herself In her hair she has a huge bow that Lena made for her, its just like the children in Russia wear.The other picture was taken on the first day of school. Who was to know she would turn out to be a brain!

I can not believe that any one can understand Maths but Jess can. I really do not know why she bothers to ask me how to do problems because I can't even use a calculator.

She is also a beautiful dancer, both ballet. and Chinese dancing.In Hong Kong she took up Chinese dance, it was a little difficult as the classes were in cantonese and she only spoke english, but she still got honors for her exams and was chosen to go to Cyprus to dance for Hong Kong,. [This is the proud mum speaking,she is going to be mad at me!!] I think it was a great experience for her, even though she was only 9.

Ballet played a big part in Jessika's life, until she finished primary school. Then she found other activities like tennis and horse riding Now I look at the photo's and remember how beautifully she danced.

The photo shows Jessika in her competition costume. It is made of silk and hand embroidered by ME, it took hours. but I loved every second of it.

This is her classical tutu, made for her by her ballet teacher, doesn't she look beautiful.

There is lots more I could tell about my youngest daughter, she is kind and thoughtful,with a generous spirit, just like her older sisters.She loves reading,and is very clever with her hands, and she is an absolute "wizz" on the computer, compared to her dumb mum. Most of the time she has enormous patience with me trying to help me understand how this thing works!! India loves her dearly and so do we all.
