G.R. Asdjodi Scholarship
With a desire to uphold Mr. Asdjodi's values and principles and his love for mathematics education, the G.R. Asdjodi scholarship has been established. This scholarship will be awarded once a year to a first-year female Iranian university or college student in mathematics, computer science, or statistics. The amount of the scholarship is 500 US Dollars.
The candidates will be chosen from the freshman female students who have demonstrated great achievements in mathematical subjects during high school and plan to continue their study in mathematics, computer science, or statistics. The following criteria will be used for selection of the final candidate during each academic year.
Criteria:
1. Applicants need to be preparing for, or have just started their first semester undergraduate studies in mathematics, computer science, or statistics at a state university.
2. Applicants need to have achieved excellent academic performance in mathematics during their high school years and on their SAT scores or equivalent exams used for college acceptance. Transcripts of the last two years of high school exams and SAT scores need to be provided.
