Robert died in Lauderdale Co, AL in 1822/1823.  I don't think the family had been in Alabama very long before he became ill enough to have his will done because the family did not own any property (that I can ascertain) in Alabama at the time of his death.  He had enough money and property to make bequests to each of his children.  He gave the adult children a slave and some horses, and all his land estate to his wife, Lucretia.  This section of the will I have not been able to transcribe but he mentions land in (I think) South Carolina.  He gave his son Champell C. Chandler $120 and I believe that may have been because he got his portion when he married and I believe that he stayed in Mecklenburg, VA.

Frances Chandler Bell was a sister to my great-great-grandmother, Mary "Polly" Chandler Bradford.  I've researched this family every since I started with this genealogy stuff and just in the past couple of years gained more info about this family.I live in Huntsville, AL and was born in Athens, Limestone Co, AL.  You can find info on the Chandler, Graves and Chappell families at the Mormon Church web site..  My parents still live there.  Hope this is of help to you.  If you have other questions, just contact me.
