| the Holy Spirit enables us to 'do' something not just 'feel' something we must never seek the power of the Holy Spirit or miracles just to impress people or prove something love does not take in to account the wrongs suffered love is not motivated by rejection to retaliate or prove ourselves the gifts of the Holy Spirit when not grounded in love are 'noisy' love is tolerant and patient we cannot function in our God-given roles when we put any other yoke than the Lord's upon ourselves when we are controlled by the Holy Spirit our only desire is that God be glorified God does not expect something of us He doesn't also empower us to do every evil that is done has a counter balancing power for good * * * |
