A Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father- Author of Life- I give You all honor and glory as this majestic day begins, for it was Your wisdom and divine intellect which brought about the very first day.  And it was you Father, who formed Adam from the dust of the earthand shaped him into your image and likeness.  And it was You who breathed into Adam and made him a living soul.  And it was You who provided everything that he needed to be healthy and strong:

Nutritious whole food
crystal clear Living Water
clean, fresh air
and radiant, invirgorating sunshine

So now I come before you, O great Creator, through the body and blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and ask that you allow these same elements of food, water air and sunshine to enter my body and make me grow in both health and strength so that I may become a worthy Temple for Your Holy Spirit.

Guide my actions today so that I do nothing injurious to this body that you have entrusted to me.  Help me make the right choices in the quantity and types of food that I consume.  Let nothing pass into or out of my mouth that does not magnify and glorify Your Temple.

Let me drink freely of Your clean, life-sustaining water and as I do so, let it remind me of the day when I will drink of the Everlasting Waters that come from the throne of Heaven.

Forgive me for any wrongs I may have commited in the past against my body and give me the strength and motivationto always keep it worthy of Your indwelling.  I pray also that You keep me from sickness, disease, and bodily weakness and deliver me from the evil temptations of the son of darkness.

For the Heavens are yours, and the Earth is Yours, and my body is Yours, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, into the coming age of Shalom.

Amen
The Prayer of Jabez

Oh, that you would bless me indeed

and enlarge my territory,

that your hand would be with me,

and that you would keep me from evil,

that I may not cause pain

We have made thee neither of heaven nor of earth,

Neither mortal nor immortal,

So that with freedom of choice and with honor,

As the maker and molder of thyself

Thou mayest fashion thyself in whatever shape thou

shalt prefer.

Thy shalt have the power out of they soul's

judgement,

To be reborn in higher forms,

which are divine
