Marriage: A New Song
by Stephen Gray

“If gay marriages are permitted (a prerogrative [sic] of the most decadent Roman emperors), why not polygamy? Why not brother and sister or parent and child?”
John McKellar National Director, HOPE (Homosexuals Opposed to Pride Extremism) In a Brief to a Parliamentary Committee.

Marriage is the latest institution to be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. Who is to say some animal lovers will not want to "marry" their pets? Or parents their sons, or daughters? Or children their parents? Incest does exist. Will we eventually see this "legitimized?" Societal taboos are swiftly becoming "rights." What is next? After all, if men can marry men and women marry women, the next "evolution" in society is just a "judicial pronouncement" away. Pretty far fetched? Oh really, if so-called "same-sex marriage" had been proposed a few years ago, those proposing it would have been called crackpots. Now we have some judges, many politicians, most of the media, assorted clerics and numerous others saying "same-sex marriage" is a human right. Some of these judges are even called "nation builders" in one national newspaper, for their decision on imposing "gay marriage." Once this door of judicial madness is opened, anything is possible.

“An Ontario court has ordered the federal government to pay survivor benefits to gays and lesbians whose partners died before 1998, a ruling that could cost as much as $400-million…” The article went on to say: “Among those benefiting will be a sizeable portion whose partners died of AIDS…”
National Post, Dec. 20, 2003.
The federal government is now appealing this decision. Why are they even appealing this nonsense? They are the government, they are supposed to make the laws not non-elected judges.

None of us would be alive today if this aberration called “same-sex marriage” was natural. Yet, this kind of "marriage" is declared "normal" by the so-called intelligentsia. Some in the media even call people opposed to this abnormality "right wing nutbars" and various other epithets. What kind of  "investigative" media is this? They promote nonsense rather than normalcy.  There is abundant evidence out there that these deviant behaviors place society at risk. These so called defenders of "free expression" have become propaganda merchants for claptrap. These are the people who pollute our TV’s, radios and newspapers with their agendas of nonsense and have effectively silenced most sane voices. Yet the media are the same people who are supposedly able to write and speak in intelligent language!! Yet they write and speak twisted words like "same-sex marriage." Bedlam has arrived.

Marriage: "The act of legally uniting a man and woman in wedlock"
National Dictionary, 1941 Edition.

The above quote is from 1941; now fast forward to 2004. The Liberal government in Canada is unable to define marriage anymore. They have to get appointed judges to do it for them. The provincial government in Victoria B.C. hands down an edict that marriage commissioners in B.C. must marry "same-sex"  persons if asked to do so. Refusal could mean loss of one's job.
Liberal, Premier Gordon Campbell, had this to say on the matter:
“The Vital Statistics Agency is required to advise marriage commissioners of their legal responsibilities and provide them with an opportunity to resign should they not be able to fulfill these responsibilities.” George Orwell would have loved those words, “opportunity to resign.” Since when was it an “opportunity” to be forced to quit your job? And why is it a tiny minority has governments of all political stripes and the judiciary groveling to obey their demands? Do they have some power over these people? How can any rational mind impose this nonsense and why are we allowing them to do so?  What should be done when our political, judicial and media emperors have no clothes on? Even a little child can see they are naked.

"As anti-gay prejudice melts away, same-sex marriage will eventually become the law in all Western jurisdictions."
Jonathan Kay, editorials editor, National Post, Feb.20, 2004.

The above quote from Mr. Kay is from an article he wrote headlined: "Our gay competitive advantage" Mr. Kay writes in his piece: "Gays turbo charge our urban economies..." Oh really!? The highest percentage of AIDS cases in Canada are in the homosexual population. This preventable disease is costing our healthcare system billions. Yet this investigative journalist, in his glowing column about the financial advantages of having "gay communities," did not mention the financial disadvantages to our economy. One would have thought Mr. Kay, being an "editorials editor," would have given out all the information about the gay lifestyle in his column.

How did society reach this stage of madness? Could there be a virus out there eating brain cells?  Can we descend much lower before society disintegrates completely? All behaviors have consequences and the consequences of abnormal behavior can result in AIDS and other diseases. A medical doctor had this to say:
“Problems promoting this lifestyle ‘relate to HIV, gay bowel syndrome , increasingly parasitic infections, lowered life expectancy and…an increase in hepatitis in Canada.’”
M.P. Dr. Grant Hill quoted in Vancouver Sun May 16, 1996.

This disease of AIDS was first diagnosed in  those who practice homosexual behavior. Originally it was called: “Gay Cancer” then "Gay Related Immune Deficiency" or GRID, but the name of the disease was changed to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or AIDS to placate the gay population who did not like being equated with a disease.  Criticizing this lifestyle today is  considered "hateful" and can lead to hysteria in the politically correct media. This is a lifestyle protected and promoted. Opposing it could soon be a crime, rather than the crime being the dangerous behavior. Witness the tainted blood scandal. Innocent people were infected because to ask questions about this lifestyle was to discriminate.

Now we have moved on to say that to oppose "gay marriage" is to discriminate. This word "discriminate" is another word added to the song for "same-sex marriage." The chorus gets louder and louder from the opinion makers, the judges and the politicians. They are not singing the same tune as the majority of the population. For who in their right mind would want an unhealthy and disease-ridden behavior trumpeted and orchestrated as a new song for marriage?
