Canada's Pravda Media
by Stephen Gray

The old Soviet Union newspaper was called Pravda which
means “truth” and was a publication of the Communist
Party. This newspaper parroted the communist party
line and was known as an organ of propaganda for the
elites and the Politburo.  In Canada today we have our
own Pravda propagandists. They are the propaganda
merchants of print, TV and the airwaves for the
Liberal party. One has only to look at the federal
election coverage to see that most media went into
attack mode when they realised the Liberals might
lose.

They used the abortion issue, homosexuality and the
Charter of Rights and Freedoms as their weapons when
questioning Conservative candidates. God help anyone
-oops one must not use the word God in today’s Canada
-who dared to speak the truth or give the politically
incorrect answer on these  issues. Cheryl Gallant, a
Conservative M.P. - who incidentally was re-elected -
was one candidate who was the recipient of media wrath
for daring to compare a beheading in Iraq to abortion.
Yet anyone with half a brain knows, there is so much
available evidence on the act of abortion. The child
in the womb is cut to pieces, and suctioned out,
poisoned by a saline solution or in the case of a late
term abortion the child's head is pierced with a sharp
instrument and its brains suctioned out. Yet Ms.
Gallant was vilified for comparing this killing by
choice  to a beheading. "Choice" of course is "lovely"
in media parlance.

Which raises the question: Why is it the media go
bananas when anyone exposes the true facts on this
abominable procedure called: "Freedom of choice?"
Could it be that our Canadian  Pravda media have
promoted this lying propaganda for so long, that for
them to reverse their stand would show that their
so-called "investigative journalism" is a sham? In
fact one big, politically correct softy of the media
airwaves was heard to say that the women he worked
with "set their hair on fire" when hearing that
"choice" was threatened. To which one might reply,
surely it is better to set ones hair on fire than kill
the baby. And of course another media scribe being
interviewed on big softy’s program agreed with him
that “choice” was essential. Still this is our Pravda
of  today, interviewing each other and agreeing with
each other  that the media does a "good job." Birds of
propaganda feather flock together to paraphrase an old
saying.

The same goes for the homosexual issue, God help
anyone - oops I have used the forbidden word again -
who does not agree with homosexual marriage. This was
another issue our Liberal media demanded the proper
answer on. One had to agree on same-sex wedding bells
or the bells would be tolling for Conservative
candidates burial in the election race. Attack words
were hurled at any Conservative candidate who dared to
disagree on this absurdity.

Then  we have that "wonderful:" Charter of Rights and
Freedoms that the people are supposed to love, but did
not get to vote on. God help - oops I've used that
forbidden word again - Randy White for daring to say
he would like to see the notwithstanding clause used
on some of these issues. Or that non-elected, Supreme
Court judges should be subordinate to Parliament and
not the other way around. Well, all hell broke loose
and Randy - who incidentally was re-elected by a huge
majority - was called despicable names by these Pravda
propagandists for daring to state the truth. This is
Canada today, where only the politically correct views
are the "truth" according to the media, and the
Liberal party. Any other views  are verboten. Any
other views are "hateful." Any other views must be
suppressed by our Liberal propagandists and Canada's
Pravda Media.
