Initially intended to be called the "Ghost Tracks Reunion", the "Seneca Drag Strip Reunion" covered a number of now closed drag strips in northern Illinois and Indiana. The tracks included US30, Oswego, Meadowdale, Seneca, Half Day and the Amphitheater.
A great big "Thank You" and a "Job Well Done" goes out to the people of AL's Body Shop for all the hard work they did in preparing the grounds for us. Without their support, the reunion wouldn't have happened.
Let's not forget Willie and Jerry. It was their efforts that brought the reunion into being. Hopefully this is just the beginning and there will be many more reunions to follow. And last but not least, all the volunteers who did so much to make it a great event the past 3 years.
Unfortunately, as they say, all good things must come to an end... The great folks at AL's Body Shop have decided not to hold the reunion again this year. I understand their reasons and hope that sometime in the future they change their minds and do it one more time.

Front Engine Dragster: The story I heard on this car was that it was being stored in a grain bin full of corn. The current owner had to wait a year for corn prices to rise enough for the farmer sell his corn and empty the bin so the car could be removed. Anybody have any further details on this one?

Since I set up my US30 bleachers and a table for photos this year, I was not able to roam the grounds and take a lot of photographs like I did last year. I did manage to take roughly 50 photos though. So, as time permits, I'll get some of them loaded onto the web site.
