| The Lake Ridge Airport is an old time grass strip. On your average sunny summer day you'll hear and feel Mike Ratty roaring by on a low pass, fly by in his old Waco as he gives the best barnstormin' ride a dollar can buy. Across the field Joe fires up an old radial Cessna tail dragger, a few of the old timers gather around as the "Shaky Jake" coughs and sputters to life. Life at Lake Ridge is laid back southern livin' at it's finest. Lake Ridge has a very active EAA chapter. More than a few members working on projects, from Stearmans to RV's. | ||||||||||||
