Mike Ashmore's Great American Sports Tour
Tour Stop #3
1/28/2005 - 3:00 PM

Just leaving the house now, this should prove to be an interesting trip.  It should be a lot of fun, too.  I haven't been to a hockey game since April, I haven't had glass seats since 2001 and I haven't been to a game with my dad in about a year.  Meeting some old Flyers should be fun, and seeing the Pack should be fun as well.  Hopefully, the good guys win.

The Day After -

OK, so the good guys didn't win.  The Pack lost 5-1, despite plenty of opportunities to score.  They couldn't capitalize on a five minute power play in the third when they were down 3-1, and they didn't really have that many good scoring chances.  This certainly could have been more fun...Hextall and Berube weren't there, I only got half of the Nittymakki-Labarbera goalie matchup I wanted (Valiquette started instead) and a "Phantom rule" so to speak, kept my camera in the car.  But, all in all, it was decent and something fun to do every so often.
