Tour Stop #PHI
February 27, 2005 - Penguins at Phantoms - Philadelphia, PA

Well, I'm a day removed from covering my first Phantoms game, and this is starting to become second nature again.  I think it took me a few games to get back in the flow of things, but things went well.  I got there about two hours early and hung out in the lower press room for a while.  Then I went up to the cramped press box to take my spot and watch the game.  After a scoreless first, things really picked up and it became a pretty nice game.  Philadelphia lost 3-2 on a late shorthanded goal.  The goalie matchup was a little disappointing, Fleury-Niittymakki, both of whom I'd seen already.

After the game, I interviewed Todd Fedoruk, Jon Sim and Patrick Sharp and those all went well.  I think I'll be able to go back before the season is over, I'd like to get some more work done there.
