A Submission: Built-up Shoe

I am 53 and I was recently at the mall and saw a lady that I would say was about 45 very attractive with a nice figure. She used a aluminum cane and wore a short leg brace on one leg and had about a 2 inch built up shoe on the other. Her left shoe was a lace to toe white high top orthopedic shoe with the brace attached to the heel. Her right shoe had a build up and was a low quarter wing tip type shoe. She wore white anklets and had a nice tan. I was very impressed by the way she carried herself. She walked very slow and only had a small limp. She was wearing a just above the knee skirt, beige, and a top both of which accented her very nice figure.

She tried on a suit business type and when she came out of the dressing room she did not have on the built up shoe for some reason and the limp was very pronounced. It was a pant suit and I later deducted she could not get the pants leg over the shoe.

I could not hear too much of the conversation with the sales clerk but I did hear her ask the crippled lady if she had been in an accident. The crippled lady very candidly answered her that she was born with a congenital defect of her hip which caused the limp and her left ankle was also deformed causing her to have to wear the brace. The clerk actually asked her if she had problems going out in public with such ugly shoes and the lady answered by saying only when ignorant and rude people such as herself asked such stupid questions. The clerk said she only meant she was so attractive it must be hard to have to wear such unattractive shoes, I just can,t imagine what it would be like.

The cripple lady said she had more shoes like these if she would like to try them herself to see what it was like, to be treated differently. She then went back to the dressing room and came out a few minutes later and was in such a hurry to leave she tripped on the carpet and fell into a mannequin and knocked it over and fell over the mannequin. The sales clerk and myself helped her up and I believe I actually saw a tear in the crippled ladies eye.I went with her to her car a very nice sports car BMW and opened her door.

As she was getting in her high top had come unlaced and the shoe string caught on the door frame. I pulled it loose and tied it for her without asking and she said thanks, this had been one of the worst days of her life. I said I hope it gets better, and she just said thank you. I did notice a black leather sandal in the back seat built up like the shoe she had on, but obviously custom made as it was very sturdy looking and another black high top shoe, but not lace to the toe. It truly looked like a little boys shoe.

She saw me staring at the shoes and said I am glad I wasn't wearing those, or that lady, meaning the clerk I suppose, would have sent me to the mens department. I did not know what to say, so I exacerbated the problem by saying you have to wear what helps you be more mobile not what is the style of the day.

She then said I should send them in to her and tell her to give them a try.She asked if I would take them to her and I said sure. She said tell her I am only loaning them to her.Itookthem from the back seat andshe just laughed at me started the car and left.

I naturally kept the shoes hoping to see her again and have a reason to meet and talk to her. I have to say I'm glad I kept them. I have seen her twice since then and we are becoming friends. She asked what the clerk said when I gave her the shoes, and I told her I had not got around to it yet. She just smiled.

She has told me she lives alone and is not quick to get into permanent relationships, but she is very attracted to me. She has tried to get me to admit I am a devotee, but I don't admit that as I am not sure how she will react. She recently asked me to take her to her beauty salon appointment, as her car was out of service. I was happy to accomodate.

She was well known at the salon and one of the younger attendants told me how much they liked her. I was surprised she did not use her cane that day but held on to my arm. She also wore knee length shorts and both shoes were white high tops, but not the lace to toe. They truly looked like the stride rite training shoes that small children wear. The built up shoe also had a t strap around her ankle but no brace. She got a pedicure but only on her left toes. She later told me she would explain why later.

She has no toes on her left foot, part of the congenital defect. I had not noticed this in the department store because of the anklet she had on. She let me be intimate with her after the beauty appointment to the extent of kissing and hugging but nothing else.

Tomorrow we are going to shop for furniture for her new town home. I can't wait. I think I am making headway.
