| A recent trip to Mill Hollow in Vermilion turned out to be twice as much fun with two Audubon chapters. After a hearty meal and a brief info session, a pleasant river front walk was in order. One starts to wonder if the “A” in GMAS stands for A.D.D. as several wander off in search of botany and adventure. Soon, as with any group of children having this much flat rock available, a stone-skipping contest breaks out. (Gary Cowell is the uncontested winner.) |

| Botany as well as birds were the high light of our side trip to near-by Schoepfle Gardens. Another jewel in the Lorain County Metro Park System, it provided a pleasant walk and tremendous variety of habitat and flora. The cast of charaters include: Gary, Pam, Sam, Cheryl, Su, Jim and Tim. |
