I added this photo page two days ago, but have deleted it as used digital photos and used my total space with this page alone. At least it shows that this page is alive and well! Will seriouly be trying to get more updates with smaller bandwidths as soon as I can! In the meantime, May 2007 was a good time. Ewen, Saule and family were well, the house is finally finished and now the concentration goes on the garden. I flew to Riga as Ryanair now fly there direct from Scotland, snd it is cheaper and easier to get to Birzai from Riga than from Vilnius, though I did miss getting to spend time in Vilnius (Vilnius being 10 times nicer than Riga!) Crossed the border at midnight in a car with the border being halfway across a bridge, very John Le Carre! Going back in august and will definitley be spending time in Vilnius then. August 2007
In August 2007, I went to Lithuania again. I had an amazing time. I spent 10 days in Birzai, almost every days were 30 Degrees plus, spending time with Saule, the kids and all the people I love in Birzai. Then I went down to Vilnius and had a great time there with Krista, Gediminas, Arturas, Elena, Liutaruas, Jurgis, Agne, Kes, Agne, Simon, Urse and Kai. Amazing! Visited the Pushkin House, Kalvariju, Sv Onosa etc etc. Then we went to Nida, which was amazing. I don't feel pretentious admitting that I felt so incredibly at home in all these place, I really wish I could live there permanently. Had a nightmare journey home via Riga, but not to worry.
