Hurricane Ridge New Year's Eve, 2002

We had good skiing, though short on New Year's Eve. Sun shine, blue sky, good snow. Even cranked out a few turns. It was good to get back on the xc skis.

Tena is glad to be back on xc skis.

The trees were gorgeous in their snowy robes.

This is as far as we went. We could see Victoria accross the Strait.

This Raven was very bold. A girl laid down on the snow and he went for her like carrion until she moved a little. Every time she was still he would move toward her, thinking she had died I guess.
