Depending on the timing of the industrial epoch game, a player needs to evaluate which units it's best to produce at which time and at which proportion. At long games, for instance, the strategy of the game drifts away from its initial army making process and ,considering that the economy is booming, only certain units are of significant value in the battles (siege and ranged uits in particular).
A good sequence of production of units is as follows
INFANTRY RANGED -->
CAVALRY RANGED -->
BALLONS -->
SWORD CAVALRY-->
ARTILLERY
(The amount of production of units is depend on your strategy).

The disposition of these units during the batlle should be as follows:
ARTILLERY (STAND MODE)

HORSES WITH GUNS (STAND MODE)

INFANTRY RANGED

HORSES WITH SWORDS

BALLOONS

ENEMY
Important notice
For the mutual support of these units the first important thing is the range of these units. Also do NOT move the units (except for the horses with swords) during the battle.
