Dear Kashima Shinryu practitioner,

We are pleased to announce that Inaba Shihan, joined by other teachers from the Shiseikan Dojo (Meiji Jingu Shrine, Tokyo), will give two seminars in Europe next summer, one in the south and one in the north. These seminar will be given in the hope that people would be favourably encouraged to develop their own Budo culture (spirit, mettle and traditional techniques), and to bring together the different cultural environments, ethos, and traditions of overseas Dojos.

 

This is a first announcement to let you reserve the following dates: The first seminar will be held at Brandbu (near Oslo) in Norway, from 2nd to 8th of August, 2008. More information will be available at www.kashima.no . The second will be in Karpenisi in central Greece (290 km from Athens), from 11th to 17th of August, 2008. More information will be available soon on this page. In each seminar, there will be places for approximately 60 people. Participation will be by invitation and individual application. In the case of large numbers of applications we may not be able to pass every application. We kindly ask for your understanding. Exact cost of each seminar will be finally decided later, however please prepare yourself for approximately 450 Euros. We are aiming to translate lectures, explanations, announcements and other information related to the seminars into English, and English only. The preliminary schedule is as follows:
