               Often known as the Elder Gods
Gaea-  Somtimes know as a Titan, Gaea is the Earth and mother of the Titans, among others.

Uranus/Ouranons- Son and also consort of Gaea; Also the Father of the Titans

Cronus-  Cronus was the cheif Titan, ruling deity who obtained his power by castrating his father Uranus.  Cronus married his sister Rhea, and together they produced the Olympian Gods, whom Cronus swallowed at birth to prevent them from seizing the throne.  His son Zeus defeated him and the other Titans and bound them in Tartarus.  Cronus' latin name was Saturn.

Rhea
-  Rhea was Cronus' wife.  Vexed at having him swallow their children, she hid Zeus from him and gave him a stone to swallow instead.

Tethys
-  The goddess Tethys is another daughter of Uranus & Gaea, she gave birth to the daughters who personified rivers; consort to her brother Oceanus.

Prometheus
-  the name of this Titan means "forethought"; in myth, Prometheus was punished for giving fire to humans- he was bound and daily an eagle would come and devour his liver.  He is the son of Iapetus and Clymene.

Thiea-
Thiea is the daught of Uranus & Gaea, she was the goddess who mated with her brother Hyperion and consequently bore Helios, Selene, and Eos.

Themis- According to Hesiod, was the second wife to Zeus,  and bore to him the Seasons, (Lawfulness, Justice, Peace) and the Fates.

Atlas- Atlas led the struggle between the Titans and Olympians, and for this he was punished being made to hold up the heavens with his bare hands.  He is the brother of Prometheus

Epimetheus- the Titan was was the brother of Prometheus; his name means "afterthought"

Hyperion- God who was father of Helios, Selene, and Eos

Iapetus- God who fathered Atlas, Prometheus, and Epimetheus.

Coeus- God who mated with Phoebe and together produced Leto and Asteria.

Crius- God who sired Astraios, Pallas, and Perses

Leto- ??Titan?? but goddess who bore the Olypian twins, by Zeus, Apollo and Artemis.

Mnemosyne- The Titaness of Memory and the mother of the Muses, whom were fathered by Zeus.

Oceanus- Oceanus was the unending steam that encircled the world, a Titan, who with his wife Tethys produced the rivers and the three thousand ocean nymphs.

Phoebe- Goddess who conceived Leto and Asteria by Coeus.

Metis-  Titaness of Wisdom and one of the Oceanides, offspring of Oceanus & Tethys, she is reffered to as the mother of Athena.
