Chapter #2

Jane Asher was also a traveler. She sold real estate. Most of her clients were the elderly, so naturally the property was snatched up quickly because of the more than reasonable price.

Norman and Jane got acquainted because they offen stayed at the same hotel.

It was Jane who first came up with the plan. The pair were drinking that night at the Hotel Bar and after some petting and kissing, she announced the plan.

Jane had said, the pair had no future with the type of work they did. Real Estate brough in the money but it wasn' enough to buy her own land. Since that was her fancy. She had remembed Norman spoke of his longing to spend time in a lab, to study and bring his ideas to life. She had mention that to him and he smiled and she kissed him. Norman than smiled and she brought up the bank robbery.

Norman frowned and wished she never said that.

But Jane had explained to Norman her plan.

Norman would carry out the robbery. The plan was to hit an older bank in a smaller town because Norman was familar with the layout and the workers since he'd always put in deposites and because it was a known fact the manager of the bank lived near by. They would hit the bank after hours.

After closing, the pair hit the bank. Shoving a gun in the Manager's face, the manager got his keys and opened the doors to the vault. After stuffing many bags worth the cash the Manager started to make some noise. Jane had stabbed in him the bank and the Manager's wife who was tied up near by went white and fainted.

That was great because it took time for the robbery to be reported.

Norman and Jane fled with their bags and ran to a remote area. From a distance the pair struggled to catch their breath. The flashing lights from the Cop cars were seen and despite all that was occuring, Norman took the beauty of it in.

Jane was close to his face. All he could remember was her smile. But she didn't say a word to him. She reached for his flashlight and divded the money right then and there.

Norman felt he might be in love with her.

Jane made a vow to Norman.

"This is it. After this we no longer have a relationship. You and I are strangers from this point one. You don't speak of me and I won't speak of you. I will never contact you and you will do the same. I don't care for you and so I will never known your address or your future. You need to do the same."

Before Norman could take this all in, Jane had dropped her flashlight and in the darkness she reached for him and kissed him long and harsh.

Norman swore to the vow and then it hit him harder than before. Norman blurted out, "Jane, your younger than Iam and the papers like to focus on taboo things like drugs, sex and affairs. Try to keep yourself under control and give it some time. Buy your land and -"

Jane had cut him off, "Iam glad you said that because I was worried about you. No sex. No women. No drugs. Use your money for your lab and work hard. I expect great things from you."

Norman smiled. Why couldn't she have been normal. A regular girl. And not a scheming theif. He could see himself marrying someone like her.

Jane smirked. "Stop looking at me like that. Goodbye."

And she had left.

A shorter chapter. Are these to short? The comment about how drugs, sex and affairs are taboo came from one of my coworkers, Alison. Thank her for that one. Really, this isn't a Mary Sue fic so stop looking at me like that.

Coming up: Norman works, hard.
