| About the Green AjahWe are the Battle Ajah. We hold ourselves ready for Tarmon Gai'don, the Last Battle with the Dark One.
Sisters who wear the Green Shawl are experts on battle weaves, skilled in using the One Power as a weapon against the enemy, as well as traditional tactics of battle. Our knowledge of the lands in which we engage the enemy is extensive, and vital to our success.
We stand against all who oppose the Light, defeating them wherever they invade our lands, especially the Borderlands, where we fight alongside other soldiers of the Light against Shadowspawn, often fighting deep into the Blight. Yet our loyalty is first to the White Tower, and should an attack ever be mounted against Tar Valon or the Tower, the Green Ajah would quickly arrive to defend the Shining Walls.
Within the White Tower we look for those Novices and Accepteds who show talent in battle weaves and tactics, encouraging and guiding them as they become ready to fight the Dark. Those Tower Accepteds who show skill in fighting the enemy may be made Apprentices of the Green Ajah, and given specific training from one of our Sisters.
Throughout the lands of the Light we stand as beacons of courage, instilling hope in all who fear the Dark One, and terror into those who serve the Dark. |
