			Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod is a good Immortal.  He only takes heads in self-defense, unlike headhunters who go around using any means necessary to take another Immortal's heads and with it there soul, or Quickening.  The cool thing about being one of the Immortal's is that you can't die unless your head has been cut off, after you come back to life the first time you won't age, and you could live for thousands of years.  The bad part-- you have to fight in the "Game" by taking heads with a sword and the only place you're safe is on Holy Ground, you'll keep on living even after those you love die, you have no blood relatives including no kids, and those creepy Watchers write down everything you do.  Duncan has to deal with all this with the help of his friends mortal and Immortal.
