Strawberry Sherbet   

8 oz water
1 lb Strawberries
1 1/2 cup vanilla pod 
1/2 Fresh orange
1/2 Fresh Lemon
1/2 Cup Sugar

Boil water in a stainless steel saucepan. 
Mix in and dissolve the sugar and vanilla, let cool cool. 

Wash (& Stem) strawberries using ice cold water.
Pass them through a a food mill.
Mix the resulting puree with the strained juice of half a lemon and half an orange. 
When the sugar syrup has entirely cooled off, 
Add the strawberry puree; 
Mix well and churn the resulting mixture in an ice-cream machine
