AHOJ!!!!!!!
"Every person is a new door to a different world."
                            - from the movie "Six Degrees of Seperation"
I would like to dedicate these next few pages to some of the greatest people I have ever met. Today (Sept. 7, 2004) was their last day on the island...one of the saddest days I've had in a long time. I cannot thank them enough for giving me one of the greatest summers of my life.  It was a unique experience being able to hang out with people from a different country.  I didn't know a thing about Slovakia until I met these people...only that it was a part of the former Czechoslovakia, and that it's a country in eastern Europe. Now I know so much more...I know some Slovak...I know a little bit more about their culture...and how they party =D...They've taught me so much in so little time. They've brought me back to my European roots...they've even inspired me to learn German again...and I'm going as far as minoring in German when I go back to college.  Right now I feel more of a European than an American...and it definitely feels great.
To Katka and Zuzka...I can't wait to visit you and your home...and to have a couple of shots of vodka with you.  Working at Conner's was so much more fun having you two around.  Good luck with school, and I wish you the best in your future.  You have been the best!
To Michal: Thanks for all the vodka shots you have given me...even though I didn't need them. I'm also glad that my Jaegermeister didn't go to waste, thanks to you and Chris! I hope to see you when I visit Kate and Susan. Good luck with school, and I wish you the best in your future.
To Susan, Susan and Martin, Peter, and Martin:  I wish I would have had the chance to get to know all of you better.  Maybe I will see you all when I visit Slovakia some day.  It was great meeting you all and partying with you all.  I wish you the best of luck in your futures.
Chybas mi! Ciao Slovaks! (I'm sorry I don't have Slovak accent marks on my computer)
(I miss you! Bye Slovaks!)
