My reasons
My reasons for creating this site were simple. I have a passion and a vision. They say that the generation behind the generation in authority have the insight because they are the observers, namely me. It?s not enough just to stand and watch. My vision is to have total equilibrium on our Earth, to live in harmony with nature, to find compromise and establish a sustainable environment. I have many reasons which I discuss further at another time.

We cannot expect to consume resources and globalise our Earth without consequence. Many are too naïve to think that their actions do not have negative repercussions. I believe the government will continue to ignore these environmental issues. I call them silent disasters, they seem harmless at first but quickly they will damage everything in sight and will be virtually irreversible. These problems gain momentum as technological progress continues. The severity of environmental issues will only increase if we do not take action to revert the problem. I would have thought that everyone would be aware of this future-crisis. Did many not see ?The Day After Tomorrow?? Was it just seen as another sci-fi film with no meaning at all? Did anyone stop to think that we may be approaching a disaster like that? No, of course not people walk out of the cinema and throw their rubbish on the pavement. Michael Moore?s movie was quite extreme to say the least but there was a message and it was definitely not hidden. Protecting our environment is incompatible with this trend of urbanisation and it?s something that can?t keep being ?swept under the rug?.

Remember, we, as humans have created adverse effects to be inflicted upon the Earth therefore I deemed that it is our responsibility. If you tell a child to pick up their toys from the ground, practice what you preach. If you have a car or a house think about the fumes or the land you occupy. You should too pick up your toys and reverse the damage done.

All that I ask is that you help in some way or another and however much you can. Even if you don?t care about the environment; hurting it will hurl negative impacts to you in return. So if you don?t do it for the environment, do it for yourself, do it for anything on this earth. Whatever your motive is, something must be done. Think of the long term, live on earth will depend on it. The long everyone procrastinates, the deadlier the situation will become. This means more time, money and effort we will have to be spent. There will be no future if we don?t make it.

Ducks call Bannister Creek home, now that weeds have been cleared from clogging the waterway.
