On March 5, 2001, Dick retired from a successful career as a pharmacist at Wray's Guardian Pharmacy. Dick graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, in 1952. He and wife Audrey raised three boys, and after a career of over 30 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, practising both in Germany and at CFB Borden, Dick retired from the service in 1984. He went on to community pharmacy, and in 1988 came to Wray's Pharmacy. Thirteen years later, after working at Wray's, as well as at Cookstown Drug Mart ( Pharmasave ), Dick is putting away his mortar & pestle, and is embarking on a well-deserved retirement. We will miss him at Wray's but wish him all the best in his retirement. Hopefully not all of his time will be spent golfing, as Audrey no doubt has some plans as well. Good luck, Richard !!! |
