The Boogie Monsters are returning to the studio in April to record a two song promotional CD that will be sent to the local radio stations. The CD will include their version of the old Leadbelly song Black Betty and a new original. A salute to Pittsburgh called Pa. Pallie.  Keep your ears to the sky and we'll let you know  when you can check it out.

Great News!  Second Edition Boogie Monsters T-Shirts are now on sale.   For a mere $10, you can show everyone that you have extremely good taste in music! The Hard Rock Cafe show on May 19th was a great party. Steve Rohan from 97 WRRK emceed and added his own brand of humor and excitement.  Thanks for a fine job, Steve.  What a great place to see the band!  The guys made a return to the Hard Rock on Saturday, November 27th.  Thanks  to all the hard working guys and gals at the  Hard Rock for their help and support and to the faithful fans who made the trip to Station Square. Thanks to all of you who came out to support the band this past year.  We had a successful and enjoyable 2004.  We still believe we have the finest fans anywhere in the world! Help us to keep bringing you the top notch live shows and CD's you've come to expect from the Monsters by supporting the clubs and bars that support us.  We couldn't do it without the fine people who manage and work at our favorite gathering spots ... and those fine people can't do it without YOU ! Gregg and Brett opened for national recording star Corey Harris (Mississippi to Mali) at Moondog's in Blawnox on Thursday, December 11th.  Corey is also featured on the Pepsi and Best Buy DVD of Martin Scorcese Presents the Blues. This is another of the many times Gregg, Brett and the Monsters have been invited to play alongside the finest performers in the world.  The crowd loved them and so did Corey Harris.

As well as being on sale at every Boogie Monsters show, Hangin' With Otis is available at Recordrama on Rt 19 in Ingomar. Steve Rohan from 97 RRK has been playing some tracks during his show from 11am until 3pm on our favorite radio station. 102.5 DVE featured the track Whiskey from the new CD on their Homegrown Show and , if you call 'em and show some interest, may play other cuts.  WYEP 91.3 has also played tunes from the CD and will play even more with some encouragement from listeners. Hangin' with Otis has also generated some interest in cities around the country where Pittsburgh Rock 'n' Blues makes toes tap and hearts beat faster.

The brand new CD "Hangin' with Otis" was officially released on Saturday, February 15th at Tilt's Pub in Richland Township.  Hundreds of fans crowded into the club for great music, good food, cheap (5 cents) draught beer, dozens of giveaways, guest performers, and one amazing evening.  The staff and management of Tilt's Pub made the whole evening run safely and smoothly and we thank them with all our hearts for their efforts. The many fans who came were possibly the noisiest, craziest, and best crowd in Pittsburgh.  Thanks to all of you for making it a special evening!  Thanks also to everyone who worked so hard to make the CD, to arrange the release party, to serve the fans, and to entertain the crowd.  It was an evening we will remember for a long time to come!   There are so many great pictures from the party that we've had to reorganize the website to include them all.  If you were there, you'll enjoy the pictures almost as much as you enjoyed the party.  Actually, we think you'll enjoy 'em even if you couldn't be there!
