Let us love one another!

Rev. James Mckenzee

[The summary of the speech made at the Anniversary of Gregorian Study Circle in Houston on 12th Dec 2001. Rev. Mackenzee is the pastor of St. Stephen's Bapthist Church, Houston. He also works among prisoners.]

I was so happy when I got into this hall because when I got in I felt love. I knew that I am welcome here. There are places where I am not welcome.

The need of our day is love. The world is nothing without love. A family is nothing without love. What more can I give to someone than love.

If we get our inner selves closer to God, we will be able to love one another better.

I believe in Jesus Christ because he has been always good to me. However, I don't look down on anybody's religion. Just as I have the freedom to follow what I believe to be true, each and every human individual should have that freedom.

Love is an action verb. It is not just a feeling without actions. It involves sharing what we have. It involves the willingness to share our time, our money, and our energy with those in need.
