The Sessions album was EMI's first attempt to release some of the outtakes and unreleased tracks in the Beatles' vault. While never released, it has been bootlegged many times. Many of these tracks later appeared on the Anthologies; however, this boot is still worth checking out. Some versions of the songs, many of which came from John Barrett's tapes and mixes, are quite different from the Anthology versions. The sound quality of this version of Sessions is by far the best.
