There are countless hours of Let It Be sessions, and probably only hard-core fans can stand to sit through them all. However, these discs have some very interesting moments. 'The Twickenham Sessions' documents the beginning of the 'Get Back' project, with the band getting back together to rehearse new material in a huge, dark and cold movie studio with the cameras rolling The sound for these discs is sourced directly from the original film.

The first disc opens with a fascinating track of John Lennon playing his new songs for George. On other discs, you'll hear the band working out arrangements to their songs. At times it is enlightening to hear the evolution of these songs. But like every other monumental box set that covers this era of Beatles history, (The Let It Be Rehearsals, The Get Back Journals etc.) it can only be taken in fairly small doses.

On the whole, the sound quality here is excellent and much of this material had not been released before this set came out. Highly recommended to serious collectors, especially those who get into the Get Back sessions.
