BUDDY HOLLY- What You’ve Been-a-Missin’, Vigotone 4CD Box Set
A nice collection of Buddy Holly material. Unless you're a hard-core Buddy fan, this is all you'll ever need. It's full of studio rehearsals and outtakes, radio spots and live performances. The last disc is a little boring, featuring other artists covering Buddy songs. The sound quality varies. The studio material is beautiful and crystal clear. As to be expected, some of the tracks taken from old tapes recorded from the radio are pretty nasty. Overall, a fascinating set.
