The Berry Bush

Walking along on a winding and a twisting path you see many little creatures scurry about and hide among the forest floor. In one such spot you stop and look at a small mouse that scurries about and collects some of the many different nuts that lay on and around a small log. Then spotting you it squeaks and scuttles off.

As you were walking along once again you find a small clearing with a black berry bush in it. Walking up to it and you find large plump black berries on it, you pick one and pop it in your mouth; it is delouse! A few birds scurry about the bush and eat some of the berries also. A few finches chirp at each other and fly in large groups form one part of the bush to the next.

Then you notice a small patch of small tender grasses in a clear spot inside the berry bush, and few beaten paths with small tunnels around them. At the end of one of the small tunnels with is an even smaller clearing with more grass, and some mixed in clover. You look at the first small clearing that it is surrounded by the bush. Also in the inside there is hardly any thorns the bush, they seem to only be on the outside.

Then you look around to see if there are any more clearings, then you spot a small clear spring that is sparkling in the sun. It lies is a small clearing in the bush, but a small stream, that is fed by the spring, twists its way out of the berry patch and out into the tall grasses of the field.

Then you hear a soft nicker and look up to see three forms running full boar down one of the tunnels. They are tiny horses! In the lead comes a blue mare her tail held high and little white snipped head held high.

Then in second comes an appy mare with a blue mane and tail. She runs in large strides, her neck straight out and her ears twitched back a little. She looks back over her shoulder for a second then speeds forward. Catching up to the blue mare at this she grins and goes faster.

Then the last mare comes up her dragon like tail going every witch way. She smiles and begin to come up on both the other mares. Passing the brown then the blue kicking play fully at them both. Then the blue begins to get faster and more in to with the game and takes the lead again with a flying burst of speed.

The blue mare runs into the spring making little shred of water fly up and land again. Then the pink mare skids to a stop at the shore and nickers pawing with one of her feet making some of the water splash as the other had done. Then the brown not far behind runs in the water and rears up at meting the blue mare.

Then play fight for a second then trot to the shore, small drops of water shining off there coats and showing brightly in the warm sun. the pink mare dips her head to drink and the others follow making soft ripples as their noses touch the water.

You try to get a better look at the small creatures but when you get a little closer the brown mare looks t you and stares then turns to the others. The other two look at you, one blinks and the other tiles her head.

Stepping forward the blue mare speaks, "I am T’arsa."

Then the appy mare steps forward and speaks, "I am S’anso." The pink mare just calmly look at you then goes back to drinking. S’anso smiles, "Z’ulin is not much of a talker."

The mares now kinda loose interest and go to grazing on the grasses in by the small stream and flicking there little tail back and forth as they mill around and eat. At one point that the ink mare and the blue mare get in a play full nipping fight. They play back and forth for a time.

Soon you decide to head off seeing that you aren’t of much help here. Heading off, you look back to see them wondering off into the bush, down some of the many paths.
