To assure your confidence that every product is made by us, we
affix our company logo on the inside of every pair of grips that we make. This is the mark of quality, both in materials and workmanship, that you can rely on. Also, every pair that we handfit to your gun is serial numbered, and an exact record of appearance and dimensions is kept on each pair.
We use only natural materials. We strive to obtain the finest
available on the planet, and exhibition grades of walnut are our mainstay. We attempt to offer two to three grades of most materials, but some materials lend itself to only one grade. But please note, we DO NOT do plastic or any form of it.
American, American crotch-cut, Turkish and English walnuts, as
well as regular, flamed and stump maples, domestic and Bolivian cherry, rosewood and many other exotic woods are available. If we don't have your requested material in stock, 10 days notice will get it to us, if it's available.
Our most asked for material has been moose antler. It has an
inherit variety of colors and textures. From white, to honey creme, which looks like a blend of ivory and stag, to a real gray. Each piece of antler has it's own distinct characteristics. But, you can individualize your sets by leaving some bark on, with colors from gray to brown, or make them smooth as glass while still maintaining the feel of natural material. You don't get the real slick plastic feel. This material is extremely durable, similar to sambar stag.
Let's not forget ivory. This material is getting extremely scarce,
but our supplier assures us that they can continue to provide the raw material we need. Let's hope so.
If you have some special material you already own that you would
like to use, we'll certainly talk to you about he possibilities, but remember, not all materials are suitable for handgun grips due to porosity, softness or stability. Just measure the material that you have and give us a call. We've tried bone, elk antler, bodock, mesquite and others, and we'll continue to try to accommodate our customers's requests, within reason.
