when a new worlds member FIRST logs in to worlds,they always start with the 'Pengo' avatar,this is worlds standard first avatar for all new members,to change your avatar(av) go to the main avatar gallery and go in to any of the rooms without VIP.....etc above them...example..PEOPLE.this is a room with just NON vip avatars in.to change your avatar once in the room (and once you have seen one you like),simply 'click' on the picture of the avatar of your choice and a small box will 'pop' up at the bottom of your screen,asking you if you wish to change into avatar...X...'click' yes and you will change.when you start worlds for a second time you wIll remain in the avatar you finished with the last time you came in to worlds

NON-VIP...what does this mean,almost all new members start out as a non vip,all this means is they haven't chosen to become VIP's yet,so they do not experience the Vip abilities.
Becoming a Vip is easy,all you do is click on the VIP button on the right hand panel (it should either say "Become a VIP" or "you are a VIP")if is says "become a VIP" follow the simple instuctions (using a credit card or paying via your phone bill makes the process of becoming a Vip much faster).
Becoming a VIP means your avatar changes from a non animated av to an animated one (with cool dance moves) you can learn how to customise your own avatars so you have a 'look' of your own,voice chat ability and a custom VIP only world..(Bowie world 1)

It doesn't currently cost alot of money to become a VIP, it is :
$24.......or........ Ł18 for a year
$15......or......... Ł10 for 6 months

To activate your VIP status,to pay via your phone bill, dial the toll-number listed, and follow the instructions. You will be given a PIN number to enter below. Be sure to stay on the line until the PIN number is given, and have a pencil ready to write it down.
