Contemplated Love

Caught up in the fire
Touched by the flame
You took me there
Now I am no longer the same.
Mesmorized
By your touch
I looked beyond the moment
And saw so much.
The man within
I found to be
So much more
Than I wanted to see.
You came through my defenses
As if they were never there
And now I find myself
Starting to care.
What started out
All in fun
Now becomes a question - do I stay
Or do I run?
For I looked beyond
That passionate touch
To the man within
Whom I admire so much.
Some call it destiny
Others call it fate.
I call it a love
I can't contemplate.
