FULFILLING A DREAM OF BUILDING YOUR OWN CAR

Although, I always had the inclination, it was not until I read Ron Champion's book, did I realise, making my own car was within my grasp. I had no doubts regarding my ability to do all the work. My problems always related to the financial side, but reading this book, enabled me to project an accurate cost and show me that it was possible to fulfil this distant dream. I was under no illusion about the £250.00 quoted in the book, and yes I believe it would be possible in an extreme case, but realistically I thought £1000.00 would be achievable. I made a decision to manufacture as many of the parts possible and would only purchase the parts I had to. This website is the story and thoughts behind the making of our car.
